Dental Assistant – Skillman, NJ | Modern, Patient-Focused Practice

Our growing dental practice in Skillman, NJ is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a close-knit, supportive office that values work-life balance, advanced technology, and providing high-quality patient care. This role is primarily clinical, with the opportunity to assist with front office and treatment coordination tasks as needed.

Schedule
Full-time

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
  Dedicated lunch hour

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor chairside during procedures
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms
• Take dental radiographs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the day
• Communicate with patients to ensure comfort and understanding of treatment
• Assist with treatment coordination and front office tasks as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience
• X-ray license required
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Experience with dental software (Oryx preferred; Dentrix/Eaglesoft familiarity a plus)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Pay & Compensation

• $25-$32 per hour (based on experience)
• 2 weeks PTO
