About the Job Global Quality Engineer | Allied Resources Technical Consultants About the Position: Allied Resources Technical Consultants (ARTC) is seeking an experienced
Global Quality Engineer
to support enterprise-wide quality initiatives across product development, manufacturing, sourcing, and customer-facing teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products meet established performance, reliability, and customer expectations throughout their lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a strong engineering background who can translate technical analysis into practical, real-world improvements. This position offers the opportunity to influence quality systems globally while supporting new product launches and continuous improvement efforts. Job Responsibilities: Analyze customer-reported issues to identify preliminary root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Prepare clear, professional written reports summarizing investigation findings for internal teams and external stakeholders. Support New Product Development initiatives from early concept through production release, ensuring quality deliverables are met. Lead and participate in quality-related activities including past performance reviews, risk assessments, FMEAs, and first-article approvals. Partner with manufacturing quality teams to identify trends, drive containment actions, and reduce recurring issues. Contribute to Six Sigma, Green Belt, or Black Belt projects focused on reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). Develop, revise, and implement technical specifications, quality procedures, and process documentation. Assist with the evaluation and rollout of digital tools and systems that support quality processes and reporting. Participate in product and process reviews related to warranty claims, field issues, and customer feedback. Support additional quality initiatives and cross-functional projects as directed by quality leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Quality Engineering or related technical role. Proven ability to lead structured problem-solving efforts and implement sustainable corrective actions. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) strongly preferred. Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001. Experience with statistical analysis, SPC, and data-driven decision-making; Minitab proficiency is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences. Self-directed, comfortable making independent decisions, and able to manage multiple priorities. Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
