Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical sales support to contractors via phone, email, and walk-ins
- Recommend HVAC/R equipment, parts, and system components based on application and specs
- Assist with troubleshooting systems, cross-referencing parts, and identifying replacements
- Generate and manage quotes, sales orders, and follow-ups to close business
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat sales
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery
- Stay current on manufacturers, product lines, and industry trends
- Support upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue
Qualifications
- 2+ years of HVAC/R experience (field, counter sales, or inside sales)
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting
- Experience with equipment selection, parts lookup, and system applications
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced inside sales environment
- Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with ERP/POS systems and basic computer applications
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
