Experience:

Required Skills/Experience: - Specifically looking for a scrub traveler who can perform routine cath procedures, including peripheral and stroke, and has experience scrubbing EP, including LAAO. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Pre- or post-op experience preferred. - IR experience would be helpful.

Special Requests: - Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months; this includes direct full-time, part-time, or PRN employment by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity. Candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered. - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: - Performs cardiac, peripheral, neuro, traumatic embolization, EP, carotid, loop recorder, cardioversion, and TEE cases; carotids are performed at College Station. - EP cases include ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations (A-Flutter, SVT, A-Fib), usually on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Bryan. - No specials/IR in Cath Lab; a separate area performs those procedures. Peripheral and neuro cases are performed in Bryan; peripheral cases are also performed in College Station. - Uses Merge Hemodynamics and documentation system; all staff are cross-trained to monitor cases. Documentation is scheduled to transition to Epic Gold in October 2026 while Merge remains for hemodynamics. - Day shift staffing is 3 people per case: circulating RN, scrub tech, and monitor. On-call team is 4 people: monitor, scrub tech, and 2 RNs.

Shift & Scheduling: - Mon-Fri 0630-1500 with call. Possible 0600 start, depending on cases.

Floating Requirements: - Will float between Bryan Campus: 2801 Franciscan Drive, Bryan, TX 77802 (home base), and CS Campus: 1604 Rock Prairie Rd, College Station, TX 77845.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
