Project Workers - Social Care (ROI57/05/26/4v-1) **Our team is GROWING!** Were recruiting for the roles below and will also be creating a waiting list for upcoming Project Worker opportunities across our Janus, Creative Community Alternative, Emergency Support and Timeout teams in Limerick. This panel will be used over the next 12 months to fill future roles as they arise, including full-time and part-time positions, on both a permanent and temporary basis. Project Workers - Social Care, Emergency Support Programme x2 and Creative, Community Alternative x1 and Janus x1 Salary: Grade 4 Scale, €42.624 - €47, 264 per annum (pro rata). Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours (inclusive of breaks) Contract Status: Fixed Term for 12 months (from start date) withpotential to become permanent Location:Limerick/Mid West About the Emergency Support Programme: The Emergency Support Programme receive referrals from our colleagues in TUSLA Social Work. The Emergency Support programme is an extension of the Janus and Timeout programmes as they exist within the Extern suite of services and aims to prevent reception into care and/or to support community or foster placements, both long and short term. The programme also aims to support young people returning to the community from residential care/ custody when required. Part of the service aims to reduce pressure on Social Work teams and commissioners by offering practical, on-the-ground assistance. The Project Worker may also be called on to support transitions into care, reunification, provide overnight support or support permanency planning. The essential criteria are the same for each of the roles and are listed in the Job Descriptions and Person Specifications.
