With curated, age-specific programming and personalized group introductions, our happy hours ensure attendees interact with a wide array of interesting individuals. At The Shaka Club, we believe in making socializing easy, enjoyable, and impactful. Role Description This is a contract-based, on-site role for an Event Host at The Shaka Club in New York City. The Event Host will be for repsonsible for creating personalized guest experiences and ensuring each event runs seamlessly. Tasks include managing event logistics, acting as the point of contact for attendees, facilitating group introductions, and maintaining a lively and inclusive atmosphere. Qualifications • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences • Experience in Training and Sales, including the ability to provide guidance and promote The Shaka Club's mission effectively • Knowledge or experience in Food & Beverage services to support event planning and hospitality needs • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage event logistics and details • Ability to foster inclusive environments and create enjoyable experiences for all attendees • Previous experience in event planning, hosting, or related fields is a plus Pay $100 per event hosted We host about 4-6 events per month in this location Work as needed based on your availability
