Southern Health Partners is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support the medical team at the Madison County Jail, including assisting a special needs patient with daily care and activities of daily living.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on patient interaction and understands the importance of patience, consistency, dignity, and compassionate care. In addition to general nursing support duties within the facility, this position will provide focused assistance to a patient requiring additional support with mobility, hygiene, and other daily living needs.

Job DescriptionAs a CNA, you will assist nursing staff with patient care and daily medical operations within the facility while also helping support a special needs patient with routine daily care needs. Professionalism, compassion, confidentiality, and reliability are essential in this role.
Responsibilities Include:- Assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADL’s), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding assistance, and mobility support
- Providing compassionate one-on-one support for a special needs patient
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Supporting nurses with daily patient care activities
- Assisting with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning as needed
- Preparing exam and treatment areas
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Observing and reporting changes in patient condition
- Promoting patient dignity, comfort, and safety at all times
