Offensive Security Engineer Kilkenny / Permanent €70,000 - €80,000 Overview: Perform offensive security testing and adversary simulations across enterprise systems, cloud, and infrastructure to assess security controls, validate detection capabilities and strengthen cyber resilience. What you'll do: Conduct adversary simulations and offensive security testing to evaluate enterprise defences and resilience. Perform security assessments across applications, cloud platforms, infrastructure, and enterprise systems. Collaborate with security and technology teams to develop realistic threat-based testing scenarios and improve detection capabilities. Develop testing tools, maintain audit-ready reporting, and support remediation within approved security and compliance standards. What I need from you: Strong experience in offensive security, penetration testing, and adversary simulation across cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise environments. Solid understanding of attack frameworks, security tooling, scripting, and threat-informed testing methodologies. Broad technical knowledge of networks, operating systems, cloud services, identity management, and security controls. Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with experience producing clear reports and working with security and defensive teams.
