Technical Sales Specialist Fencing Solutions About the Role A growing business within the construction and infrastructure sector is seeking to appoint a Technical Sales Specialist to support the continued development of its fencing solutions portfolio. This is a national, field-based role requiring strong product knowledge, technical expertise, and the ability to support sales activity across a diverse customer base. Working closely with the wider commercial team, the successful candidate will focus on driving customer engagement, supporting commercial activity, and acting as a technical expert within the market. The role will involve regular engagement with contractors, installers, merchants, and customers across Ireland. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, installers, merchants, and customers Support the identification and progression of new business opportunities Provide on-site support, product demonstrations, and technical guidance where required Develop strong product knowledge across fencing and wire solutions Act as a technical support resource for both customers and internal teams Support commercial activity through customer engagement and technical expertise Represent the business at trade shows, demonstrations, and customer events Provide feedback on customer needs, competitor activity, and product performance Collaborate with internal commercial and procurement teams to support customer requirements and product availability Candidate Profile Experience in technical sales, field sales, or a customer-facing role within construction, agri, or related industries Knowledge of fencing, construction products, steel, wire, agri products, or related sectors Strong communication and relationship-building skills Practical, hands-on, and customer-focused approach Self-motivated and comfortable working independently Full clean driving licence required Skills & Experience Relevant industry experience essential Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Experience using ERP or CRM systems would be an advantage If this sounds like you, please apply or if you would like further information call - Claire Skills: Technical Sales Sales Rep
