The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of innovative mechanical systems and tooling used in automated production environments. Key Responsibilities
Mechanical system design: Develop detailed mechanical designs and assemblies for automation equipment using CAD software. Concept development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into robust engineering solutions. Technical documentation: Produce accurate drawings, BOMs, and specifications for manufacturing and assembly. Design validation: Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Continuous improvement: Support product optimisation and contribute to process efficiency initiatives. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.Qualifications
