About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Product Development Engineer (Electronics) to join the R&D electronics engineering team at Siemens' award‑winning Congleton site, part of the Motion Control (MC) division.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of Sinamics G products within a collaborative, cross‑functional product development environment. We are looking for a creative, curious engineer with strong technical expertise and a passion for solving complex design challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Work within a cross-functional product development team. Contribute to product specifications, concept development, and project planning. Design electronic and power circuits, including for 400V 3‑phase systems. Ensure designs meet high-volume manufacturing requirements and cost targets. Carry out product integration, validation, and simulation testing. Support product introduction into manufacturing. Assist with regulatory approvals (e.g., UL certification). Drive product support and cost-reduction initiatives. Track emerging technologies and engineering techniques.
