Job Purpose

The Logistics Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing supply chain and distribution processes to ensure the efficient, cost-effective movement of goods and materials across the organization's network. Based in Grand Island, NE

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for monitoring supply of raw materials, stock levels, storage capability, and levels of demand based on business initiatives.
  • Creates integrated processes among internal functions as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers.
  • Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production/distribution processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance.
  • Oversees the scheduling of deliveries to prevent excess stock or backorders.
  • Directs maintenance of records and data essential to material programs including materials resource planning.
  • Considers short, medium, and long-term supply plans to ensure security for supply and optimize profit for each supply chain.
  • Develops risk assessment and contingency plans should demand exceed supply.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Experience Required
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Pay Transparency

​The annual salary for this role is $86,625 - $115,500 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
