PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, with 36 hours guaranteed per week.

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is required for a temporary assignment at a healthcare facility. This role entails supporting physical therapists in providing therapeutic services to patients, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing treatment plans established by physical therapists.
• Facilitate therapeutic exercise sessions for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the physical therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques to enhance recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
