Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.

Required Credentials: - High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Fluoroscopy certification required. - Fluoroscopy Operator Registration required for RCIS and/or RCES.

Preferred Credentials: - Associate’s degree preferred.

Unit Details: - Provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. - Assists physicians with radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, including scrub assistance and maintaining sterile conditions. - Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events. - Provides patient care under RN supervision and educates patients and families before and after procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: - On-call weekdays and weekends.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications RCES, (R), CV, VI

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
