A Java Fullstack Lead with AWS expertise is a high-level technical role that bridges the gap between application development and cloud infrastructure. This individual is responsible for the end-to-end design of scalable web applications while providing technical direction to a team. Core Roles and Responsibilities
Design end-to-end API architectures (REST/GraphQL) and domain-driven microservices. Lead the migration of legacy monolithic architectures to cloud-native microservices on AWS. Establish and enforce technical standards including API versioning, contract testing, and security protocols like OAuth 2.0. Full Stack Development
Backend: Build robust services using Java 17 and Spring Boot with a focus on multithreading and performance tuning. Frontend: Oversee the development of responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks such as Angular 13 with TypeScript. Data Persistence: Manage both relational (PostgreSQL, Aurora) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases, ensuring high availability and data integrity. AWS Infrastructure
Cloud Operations: Provision and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Orchestrate workloads using Amazon ECS or EKS (Kubernetes) and implement serverless solutions with AWS Lambda. Implement observability and monitoring using Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana to track system health and Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Team Lead Mentorship
Conduct rigorous code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers. Lead Agile rituals, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and requirement gathering from stakeholders. Manage project timelines and resources while fostering a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning. DevOps Security
Own the CICD pipeline (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to automate testing and deployment from check-in to production. Maintain a security-first mindset by managing IAM roles, KMS encryption, and ensuring compliance with web application firewalls (WAF). Regards!!
