Job Summary
Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will monitor and troubleshoot the operation of machines as well as the application of components for a continuous process flow during the production run. You will work a 10-hour shift in a manufacturing environment producing high quality consumer editable arrisole.
You will:
- Feeding cans to the production line and Inserting valves and actuators into filled cans.
- Ensure the correct tip on the can is applied.
- Check for weights and leaks of filled products in cans.
- Adhere labels and sleeves to cans during production runs.
- Placing caps on filled product.
- Packing finished products into cartons for shipment.
- Preparing finished carton to meet
- Proper specifications for shipping.
- Stacking finished product on pallets within customer specifications for shipment.
- Prepare start-up paperwork per machine specifications
- Maintain operation of machine throughout the production run
- Set-up machines and makes adjustments
- Verify product specifications are correct per manufacturing instructions
- Comply company food safety, human safety and OSHA policies and requirements
- Responsible for reporting any food safety, quality and employee safety issues to management
You have:
- GED or High School diploma is required
- Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Able to bend, kneel, balance, reach, stand, push, pull and lift
- Able to move the wrist, hands and fingers
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to climb ladders
- Able to climb stairs and/or production stairways
