At Kendra Scott, the Design Team brings ideas to life through thoughtful craft, precision, and innovation. The 3D Print & Sample Coordinator plays an essential support role in that process by ensuring our physical design assets are organized, accurate, and ready to inspire and inform creative development. This role supports the movement of product samples across the design lifecycle and assists with in-house 3D printing and prototyping. It is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, operationally disciplined, and excited to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced design environment. Reporting into Design Department leadership, this position is a key contributor to the daily function and organization of the Design Lab. Responsibilities
Sample Coordination & Organization Receive, label, and accurately log incoming design samples Maintain structured organization of samples across the Design Lab Prepare and stage samples for design reviews, presentations, and internal meetings Ensure sample storage areas remain orderly, accessible, and consistently maintained 3D Printing & Prototyping Support Assist with foundational 3D printing workflows including file setup, print preparation, and part handling Support post-processing of printed prototypes, including cleaning and finishing Maintain an organized and functional 3D printing workspace Flag technical or equipment issues to the appropriate team members Design Lab Operations Maintain a clean, structured, and well-organized Design Lab environment Return samples, tools, and materials to designated locations after use Support the integrity and organization of design materials and supplies Assist with general sample preparation and workflow support as needed What We're Looking For
Exceptional attention to detail and pride in organized, accurate work Reliable, consistent, and able to manage responsibilities with care Comfortable working in a hands-on, physical, and structured environment Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Interest in product design, creative development, or technical production environments Basic Requirements
0–3 years of experience in operations, studio support, retail back-of-house, production, or similar environments Ability to work with physical product and maintain structured systems Basic proficiency in Excel or similar tracking tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Valid driver's license preferred Preferred (Not Required)
Exposure to 3D printing, CAD tools, or fabrication environments Experience in a studio, workshop, or design-focused setting Interest in jewelry, fashion accessories, or consumer product design Why This Role This role offers a unique opportunity to support the foundation of the design process—where ideas are organized, tested, and prepared for development.
