We are looking for a

Data Analyst (m/f/d)

(unlimited, full-time) Join our team at our location in Berlin, Verl, Baden-Baden, or Oslo – hybride working conditions available.


  • Explore large datasets, evaluate the data quality and model data for analytical use cases
  • Apply statistical methods to understand consumer behavioral patterns relevant for product development and operational efficiency
  • Analyze problems to understand their root cause
  • Work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to build and implement analytical solutions
  • Collaborate on data-related projects
  • Visualize data and turn data into stories
  • Derive actionable insights, provide decision support, and make recommendations based on data-driven insights
  • Consult business units and functional units, such as product or commercial teams in data and analytical related questions
  • Contribute to analytical engineering, ensuring meaningful, robust and sustainable data products

What you need to succeed in the role:

  • Master/MBA degree in numerate subject (e.g. Data Science, Mathematics, Informatics, Economics, Natural Science or Engineering)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis roles within Data & Analytics solutions
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in a programming language such as SQL, Python or R
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and analytical engineering concepts, ideally with experience in dbt, Airflow or similar tools
  • Consulting skills, especially strong ability to provide insights and recommendations
  • Strong critical thinking skills, ask the right questions and reason analytically
  • Ability to identify issues, structure and conduct necessary analysis, and draw well-informed conclusions
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, be detail-oriented, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent Team player

Nice if you have:

  • Experience in cluster analysis and machine learning
  • Experience within the payments, risk or factoring space
  • Experience with modern data stacks, preferably Databricks
  • Experience in quantitative research
  • Understanding of how to perform data extraction and manipulation
  • Ambition to develop as a professional in an entrepreneurial organization that provides opportunity to work with your areas of interest
