Take full ownership of business development activities across Germany and Austria. Build and execute winning sales strategies that deliver measurable growth and expand our regional footprint. Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities — from first contact to contract signature. Develop deep relationships with senior stakeholders in pharma, biotech, and related industries. Translate client needs into tailored PSS service solutions that deliver value and strengthen long-term partnerships. Lead proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contracting processes with support from senior leadership. Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers, site leaders, and global teams to maximise cross-selling and strategic alignment. Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and CRM-compliant reporting. Represent Eurofins PSS at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to elevate our brand presence. Drive continuous improvement by identifying new service opportunities and market trends. Requirements:
Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent business/vocational qualification; additional business or finance training is a plus. Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, ideally within the pharmaceutical or GxP-regulated environment. Proven success selling complex service solutions to senior decision-makers. Experience with insourcing, outsourcing, managed services, or laboratory services is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of product commercialisation, manufacturing, supply chain processes, and associated testing/service needs. Excellent German and English communication skills. Ability to influence across functions, collaborate across sites, and build strong internal and external networks. Credibility and confidence when engaging with senior leadership. Strategic mindset paired with hands-on commercial drive. High energy, resilience, and a passion for opening new markets and winning new clients. Benefits:
