Mechanical Estimator We are recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator to support the preparation of accurate and competitive tenders across commercial, industrial, and M&E projects in Ireland and Mainland Europe. This role will be based in Dublin. The role involves cost planning, tender preparation, supplier coordination, and commercial analysis, working closely with design, commercial, and project teams. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and tender submissions Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations Identify commercial risks, opportunities, and value engineering options Coordinate with project managers, engineers, QS teams, and suppliers Support tender clarifications, negotiations, and project handovers Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation Ensure compliance with company quality and management systems Requirements 5+ years experience in estimating within construction, engineering, or M&E sectors Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar Strong understanding of cost planning, procurement, and tendering processes Experience preparing competitive tender submissions Knowledge of commercial contracts and practices is advantageous Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills Full driving licence required Benefits Salary: Circa €85K DOE Annual performance bonus (510%) Employer pension contribution Further education and training support Employee Assistance Programme Opportunity to work on projects across Ireland, the UK, and Europe If you are an Mechanical Estimator who is looking for your next career move, send your CV to Kate OHerlihy or call for a confidential discussion.
