Responsible for leading the planning, design, and development of facility projects across the US Foods Supply Chain network Ensure designs meet operational, safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards Define and implement facility design strategy across all Supply Chain project types Lead, coach and develop Design Project Managers Responsible for conceptualization, planning, and development of facility designs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional and operational requirements Review and approve design documentation, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality and compliance Develop and implement a multiyear project delivery and pricing model Serve as a key advisor to senior leaders on facility design related topics Requirements:
10 years of progressive experience in facility design Experience leading large, complex, multi-site capital programs Industrial facility design and architectural planning experience Site development, permitting, and regulatory compliance experience Capital budgeting and cost engineering experience Lean facility design and continuous improvement experience Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, construction standards, and operational design needs Proven ability to deliver high-quality, compliant, and innovative design solutions Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external consultants Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Ability to travel to operating sites as needed Vendor negotiation and contract management (A/E, GC, automation) experience Risk mitigation and scenario planning experience Benefits:
