Sales Development Manager
The Sales Development Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and managing plans to achieve revenue growth objectives agreed upon with Brand Managers and PHW leadership for the B2B division, while operating within established financial guidelines. This position serves as a key liaison between internal teams and external customer partners. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans aligned with corporate objectives. Monitor brand performance, analyze sales and available market data, and recommend strategic adjustments as needed to achieve the sales objectives. Forecast product volume requirements and update production teams monthly. Serve as the primary brand contact for distributor partners, pharmacy partners, and Chewy. Build and maintain productive working relationships with external partners to support brand visibility, availability, and volume. Develop and implement strategies for identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities. Collaborate with customers on promotions, marketing, and brand initiatives. Focus on market development in corporate accounts and the southern region. Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Production teams to ensure consistent and effective brand execution. Support sales performance through product training, development of brand-aligned messaging, and preparation of customer presentation materials. Ensure alignment between brand strategy and operational execution. Qualifications
3–7 years of experience in sales – preferably within the veterinary industry. Prior experience working with distributors, retail, or pharmacy accounts preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Experience working within Microsoft-based systems. Travel Requirements
Attend monthly trade shows and customer meetings, which include standing and walking for extended periods.
