Elusav Recruitment has a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join one of Europes leading contractors, based in Dublin. They deliver large-scale data centre, life sciences, and advanced technology projects for some of the worlds biggest clients. This role sits within the construction team, where you will take ownership of the commercial management of your packagesfrom early cost planning and BOQs through to variations, claims, and final accounts. This is a fast-paced project environment working on technically complex builds, offering strong hands-on exposure. You will work closely with site and commercial teams to ensure costs are controlled, contracts are managed effectively, and projects are delivered profitably, with strong structure and support in place. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a few years experience to join a highly reputable contractor, gain exposure to major projects, and progress their career long term. Responsibilities: Preparing initial cost estimates during early design stages. Developing detailed cost plans as the design evolves. Advising on cost implications of design changes. Benchmarking costs using historical project data. Measuring quantities from drawings. Preparing BOQs, schedules of rates, and tender documents. Ensuring accuracy and consistency in measurement. Managing contract variations. Assessing claims (time, cost, disruption). Preparing interim payment certificates. Ensuring compliance with contract conditions. All other duties associated with this role. Requirements: Academically (Degree) qualified and or relevant experience in the industry. 3-5 years experience in a QS role. A wide understanding of work contracts/ fire protection contracts. A working knowledge of Civil and architectural Work Packages. Good with Figures. Able to negotiate with clients on a professional level. Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
