We have a brilliant opportunity to join a leading contractor as Design Manager. You will take responsibility for the management of the design co-ordination on a number of live projects, from inception to completion. The key role being to ensure design information is received in line with design release schedules to enable the project to be constructed on or ahead of programme.bThe role is the main point of contact for the Clients design team and the key link with the Subcontract design packages. Our clients project are heavily within Industrial Builds, so if you have experience within logistics, warehouse builds or Steel frame construction then this could suit you. Key Responsibilities Pre-Construction Attend pre-tender and tender meetings when required
Review designs at tender stage and suggest value-engineering options
Set up new projects using company systems and procedures
Prepare and manage the Design Information Release Schedule in line with the construction programme
