À propos

Smart Contract Engineer (DeFi)
We're growing our on-chain engineering team and looking for a Smart Contract Engineer who can take ownership of the protocols behind our decentralized finance products. In this role you'll design, ship, and maintain the contracts that hold user funds — so quality, security, and clarity of thought matter more than raw output.
The Mission
You'll be hands-on with every layer of our smart contract stack: drafting the architecture, writing the Solidity, breaking it in tests, and pushing it to mainnet. Day-to-day you'll work alongside backend developers, product managers, and auditors to turn protocol ideas into reliable, gas-aware, battle-tested code.
Your Day-to-Day
* Architect and deliver smart contracts on Ethereum and other EVM chains, from spec to deployment
* Implement and refine Solidity for lending, swaps, staking, tokens, and NFT modules
* Build deep test coverage — unit, integration, fuzzing, invariants — and chase down every edge case
* Lead internal security passes and drive contracts through external audits
* Connect on-chain logic to web and backend services with Ethers.js / Web3.js
* Squeeze gas costs and harden contracts using current best practices
* Keep a close eye on the EVM ecosystem, rollups, and emerging DeFi designs
* Write clean docs, review teammates' PRs, and raise the bar for the codebase
Who You Are
* 3+ years shipping smart contracts that have handled real value
* Fluent in Solidity, comfortable reading EVM bytecode and assembly when needed
* Daily-driver experience with Foundry or Hardhat, plus Ethers.js / Web3.js
* Strong working knowledge of protocols like Uniswap, Aave, and Compound — both how they work and why
* Familiar with the standard vulnerability catalog (reentrancy, price oracle abuse, signature replay, MEV, etc.) and how to defend against it
* Nice to have: experience on L2s such as Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Base, or zkSync
* Nice to have: Rust and time spent in the Solana ecosystem
* Careful, detail-driven, and skeptical of your own code in the best way
* Genuinely interested in crypto, open protocols, and the future of finance
The Package
* Salary range $120,000–$200,000/year based on experience and location
* 100% remote, work from wherever you're productive
* Flexible hours and async-friendly culture
* Health, dental, and vision insurance
* 401(k) with company match
* Paid vacation and sick leave
* Budget for courses, books, and conferences
* Referral bonuses
* A rapidly scaling, international team building serious Web3 infrastructure
Pay: $115,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
Benefits:
* 401(k)
* 401(k) matching
* Flexible schedule
* Health insurance
* Paid time off
* Professional development assistance
