About the job We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee and guide development efforts on a project. This role involves working with developers, product managers, and the CTO to drive project success to steer development efforts while being hands‑on wherever needed. Strong understanding of Node.js development and a proven track record of successful product launches are essential. Additionally the role involves adapting to a modular development pattern and building on top of the Holepunch peer‑to‑peer stack for our projects. Prior experience with peer‑to‑peer stack is great to have.
Responsibilities
Lead, oversee and plan day to day development activities.
Collaborate with developers, product and leadership to ensure smooth project execution.
Guide the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
Provide guidance and resolve technical issues when required.
Ensure timely delivery according to project timelines.
Drive improvements in process and practices.
Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing multiple projects.
2+ years of experience in software development (Node.js).
Basic understanding of peer‑to‑peer systems is essential.
Basic experience with Python, C++ and Rust is good to have.
Proven experience launching successful products.
Strong understanding of system architecture, microservices and good development practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non‑technical teams.
Experience in handling developers of varying experience levels.
Experience with modern dev practices: CI/CD, automated testing, agile.
