Controls Systems Technician
to join their Anchorage team. Known for delivering innovative smart building solutions since 1997 and serving as an Automated Logic dealer-partner, Meridian supports high-performance municipal and government facilities across the state.

Controls Systems Technician
Location:
Anchorage, AK (approx. 15% travel to remote sites)
Status:
Full-Time
Work Split:
50% Office / 50% Field
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Program, update, and rewrite sequences for energy management platforms
Perform commissioning, functional testing, and point-to-point verification
Install, terminate, and test BAS wiring and related field devices
Work with graphical front-end systems such as Tridium or Automated Logic
Assist with parts ordering and support field installation crews
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients during site visits
Deliver reliable technical support and maintain clear communication with end users
Ideal Candidate:
2+ years of experience as a BAS or Controls Technician
Proficient with commissioning, controls programming, and graphics development
Familiar with Tridium-based systems and Automated Logic controls
Able to diagnose and correct both hardware and software-related issues
Comfortable traveling to remote Alaska job sites when needed (flights provided)
Team-oriented and confident working with contractors and facility operators
