Key Responsibilities
Concept and design high-performing thumbnails for long-form and short-form YouTube videos
Collaborate with the creative director and editors to understand the story and emotional beats of each video
Rapidly generate, iterate, and test concepts under tight deadlines
Keep up with YouTube thumbnail trends and continually experiment with new styles
Ensure every thumbnail is optimized for mobile and desktop viewing
What We’re Looking For
A strong portfolio of YouTube thumbnails with proven performance or mock-ups that show mastery of the format
Deep knowledge of YouTube best practices, CTR metrics, and audience behaviour
Proficiency in Photoshop or similar design software
Ability to work quickly and independently while maintaining high visual standards
Great visual storytelling instincts and an eye for composition, color, and facial expression
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in frenetic lifestyle and prank content
Familiarity with analytics tools to understand and optimize content performance.
Previous experience managing a team of editors.
Salary: This is a project based position which pays a base fee per project as well as performance bonuses
