The Role: Project Manager – Data Centers
As a traveling Project Manager, you’ll oversee full project lifecycle execution for ground-up data centers across multiple regions. You’ll serve as the key liaison between the client, field teams, design partners, and executives, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, under budget, and to the highest technical standards.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys programmatic mission-critical work, and wants a long-term career path with one of the most respected design–build contractors in the space.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full project lifecycle from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout.
Manage schedules, budgets, cost controls, and change management processes.
Collaborate with in-house design/engineering teams to optimize constructability and drive value.
Serve as primary point of contact for the client, fostering long-term relationships.
Oversee subcontractor buyout, negotiation, and contract administration.
Support field teams with coordination, issue resolution, and technical direction.
Lead OAC, coordination, and internal project meetings with clarity and structure.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and project specifications.
Manage project reporting including financials, progress updates, RFIs, submittals, and procurement tracking.
Mentor Assistant PMs and contribute to developing a strong project management bench.
Qualifications
6–12+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction management.
Experience with mission critical/data center, industrial, or heavy MEP projects preferred.
Strong understanding of design–build project delivery.
Proven ability to manage $30M–$200M+ projects.
Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills.
Willingness to travel full-time (robust travel package provided).
Proficiency in scheduling and project management software.
