Come join us We are seeking an experienced Artic Driver to join our Plant Department and based at our Head Office in Drangan, Co. Tipperary. If you're looking for a straightforward driving job, this isn't it. You'll be operating in live construction environments : tight city sites, high-value equipment, and complex loads. The role suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, variety, and taking ownership of their work. The Role: Transport of construction plant including wheeled and tracked machines Movement of site accommodation, scaffolding, and specialist equipment Responsibility for safe loading, securing, and unloading of high-value assets Operating in confined, high-pressure site environments (urban and live projects) Use of truck-mounted crane (experience preferred; training can be provided) Liaising directly with site teams to plan access, coordinate lifts, and execute safe deliveries Coordinating with other drivers and crane erection crews during tower crane installations, ensuring equipment is delivered in the correct sequence from staging areas to site Managing your own weekly workload - planning routes, sequencing jobs, and prioritising tasks Handling time-sensitive and occasionally out-of-hours or emergency transport requirements Completing digital asset transfers, compliance checks, and using plant management apps Occasional van and trailer work as required What We're Looking For: Proven artic driving experience (construction/plant transport strongly preferred) Strong load securing/tie-down experience (essential) Comfortable working with abnormal loads and high-value equipment Experience (or interest) in crane-assisted operations Good communication skills - able to deal directly with site teams and coordinate with crews Self-motivated with the ability to plan and manage your own workload Technically competent - comfortable using mobile apps and digital systems A practical, solution-focused mindset Compliance and Responsibility: Ensuring all transport activities are carried out safely, professionally, and in line with regulations Maintaining all driver CPC requirements Taking ownership of truck and trailer condition, working with external mechanics to manage servicing, 12-week inspections, and annual CVRTs Equal Opportunities Clancy is an equal opportunity employer.
