Overview We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Team Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of our data platform. This role combines technical leadership, hands‑on development, and team coordination, with ownership over our Azure-based data ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will lead data initiatives, ensure high-quality delivery of our data warehouse and pipelines, and serve as a Scrum Master to guide agile execution. This role requires strong collaboration with leadership, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Ownership
Own the architecture, design, and evolution of the enterprise data platform in Azure.
Lead development and optimization of the data warehouse and data pipelines.
Drive best practices across data engineering, modeling, and performance.
Provide hands‑on technical contributions when needed.
Data Platform
Work extensively with Azure Data Factory / Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Azure storage and data services.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of data solutions.
Design and maintain scalable data models (fact/dimension, normalized/denormalized).
Build and optimize ETL pipelines across multiple data sources (SFTP, APIs, databases).
Monitor and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows.
Hands‑on experience with Snowflake and cross‑platform data integration.
AI & Advanced Data Solutions
Lead and contribute to AI‑driven initiatives.
Develop structured data extraction and automation solutions.
Build and integrate solutions using OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI for data processing, insights, and automation.
Agile & Team Leadership
Act as Scrum Master for the data team.
Facilitate sprint planning, stand‑ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Manage team workload, priorities, and delivery timelines.
Mentor and guide team members.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with leadership, product, and business stakeholders.
Translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively.
Integration & Domain Alignment
Support and guide system integrations across platforms.
Apply domain knowledge in healthcare, with preference for ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) experience.
Required Qualifications
Strong experience in data engineering and data platform leadership.
Deep expertise in Azure data ecosystem (Fabric, Databricks, Data Factory, etc.).
Experience with .NET‑based environments and integrations.
Hands‑on experience with AI development (OpenAI, Azure AI services).
Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (Scrum Master experience preferred).
Strong ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare data systems.
Familiarity with ABA domain.
Experience building and managing data integrations across systems.
