Overview Remote Patient Services Representative (PSR). American Health Connection (AHC) is hiring Remote Patient Services Representatives (PSR). These are regular, full-time employees with virtual training, company benefits, and are 100% remote. No contracts. This is a remote role, but you’ll still be an active, visible part of the team. You may be on camera during your work shift.
Each PSR is assigned to a virtual medical call center team that provides patients with full-service, central scheduling and communications services. Each team receives customized training to support medical health system clients such as hospitals, medical centers, multiple clinics, or a combination of all three.
Responsibilities
Handle 75+ calls back-to-back per shift in a high-volume medical scheduling environment.
Provide central scheduling and communication services to patients.
Work with medical health system clients (hospitals, medical centers, multiple clinics).
Participate in customized, team-specific training to support clients.
Qualifications
Must have at least 2 years of high-volume medical scheduling experience in a call center environment.
Must have Electronic Medical Record (EMR/EHR) experience.
Exceptional written (clear, concise, correct spelling) and verbal communication skills, including proper phone etiquette.
Must have a sense of urgency in assisting patients.
Private, noise-free, HIPAA-compliant space at home.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual Spanish or Tagalog preferred but not required.
Full-time day shifts available; Monday–Friday with one required weekend per month.
Hourly rate starts at $17.00.
Computer requirements: must meet these after signing offer letter and before start date; do not purchase equipment until you receive a written offer letter. Desktop is required. Laptops and Chromebooks are not acceptable due to security concerns. Computer type: Mini, Full Tower, All-in-One. Operating System: Windows 11; Mac Big Sur or newer. A webcam is required.
