Supervises the day‑to‑day delivery of high‑quality field services.
Monitors daily productivity and quality of work and assists in allocating resources as required.
Responsible for the regional budget.
Supervises field services projects concurrently and ensures completion within time frames.
Evaluates audit and inspection services against established protocols; makes technical decisions.
Works with the operations team to resolve customer issues on a regular basis.
Identifies and participates in the resolution of customer complaints and employee related performance issues.
Ensures the team's understanding of and compliance with all established policies and requirements.
Responsible for keeping Operations Managers informed about the team members' development, performance and morale.
Manages the performance of the team.
Manages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensures that all policies are understood and adhered to.
Ensures the auditors receive necessary training and assistance to complete their responsibilities.
Documents and tracks the training of the auditors and reviews progress with them on a monthly basis or as necessary.
Conducts audits and participates in recruitment of local staff as necessary.
Reads and follows the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follows all physical and digital security practices.
Performs other position related duties as assigned.
Location:
MB1 – Remote.
Qualifications
University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) in Science or a related discipline and three years work experience.
Willingness and ability to travel to other regions and or throughout the designated country (up to 25% annually).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Creative and innovative thinking to problem solve and streamline processes.
Ability to remain objective and professional in challenging situations.
Ability to work in a fast paced work environment both independently and in a group setting and to interact with all levels of staff.
Ability to lead a team to improve the performance in quality and build productive capacity.
Proficient in internet navigation, e‑mail and PC software such as Microsoft Word, Excel.
What we offer:
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
