As *Fleet Maintenance Mechanic I* you will:
· Perform basic maintenance to include:
* Perform semi-tractor and trailer inspections and identify problems which could cause breakdowns
* Perform oil changes and grease jobs on semi-tractors and trailers
* Basic understanding of suspensions on semi-tractors and trailers
* Basic understanding of ABS brake systems on semi-tractors and trailers
* Basic understanding of refrigeration units and perform pre-trips on refrigeration units
* Ability to perform repairs on tires and replace if needed
* Basic understanding of electrical systems on semi-tractors and trailers and able to perform repairs or replacement of parts
· Operate Company vehicles at terminal only
· Work in an efficient, timely, accurate, professional and safe manner in accordance with all Company policies, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations.
· Perform miscellaneous duties: building maintenance, snow removal, yard maintenance, etc.

*Basic Qualifications:*
· Must be 18 years of age or older.
· Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
· Must be able to work in a variety of work temperatures warm, hot, humid, cold, wet or with slippery surfaces at varied heights in and around moving equipment and parts.
· Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
· Achieved, or Actively in high school working to achieve, High School diploma or GED
· Achieved or Actively seeking to achieve a driver’s license
· Mechanical aptitude
· Must begin to furnish own hand tools
· Ability to operate all shop equipment and Company vehicles
· Must be able to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment
*Preferred Qualifications:*
· Knowledge of Paccar system preferred but not required
· Class A CDL desired but not required
