Outside Sales Rep

The Greer Group is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative in the Asheville/WNC area with restaurant equipment/supplies knowledge. This role focuses on developing new business and maintaining relationships with restaurant and food service clients. You will be responsible for selling a wide range of restaurant equipment, appliances, and supplies, helping our clients optimize their operations.

Salary: $60,000 guaranteed during training; transitions to full commission after training.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients in the restaurant and food service industry.
• Conduct in-person visits to client locations, showrooms, and trade events to demonstrate products and solutions.
• Cold calls to potential new clients.
• Understand clients' needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their equipment and supply requirements.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and goals.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline opportunities in CRM.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Proven sales experience, preferably in outside sales or the food service/restaurant equipment industry.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food service and equipment is a plus.

Education:

• Associate degree in business preferred.
