- Work as a team with a variety of rework technicians, engineers, and project managers in a prototype environment.
- Proto Services tracking and administration.
- Prototype bring up (includes firmware/IOS upgrade, diagnostic verification tests, debug), device programming, and allocation.
- Visual check of prototypes for mechanical and electrical problems.
- Assembly, installation and troubleshooting of systems.
- Ship prototypes to cross functional teams and clients by packaging and obtaining required information such as cost and product detail to ensure no shipping delay.
- Test out firmware for software and help with setting up some switches/routers/ check connectivity.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.
- Fundamental knowledge of electronic principles, circuit testing, use of multimeter, safely handling sensitive and very expensive printed circuit boards, and familiar with electronic components on a printed circuit board and able to locate specific components
