Job Title: Customer Service Specialist
Location: Williamsburg
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Sales
Compensation: $17 - $19 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
Overview
We are looking for a motivated customer service specialist with an affiliation to engineered industrial and medical products to join our Sales Department .
What You'll Do
• Partner with sales team to meet and exceed customer's service expectations
• Handle customer purchase orders/ changes/ returns according to company policies and
procedures
• Send order confirmation to customer within 48 hours of order placement
• Communicate the status of order if delayed
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on customer quotes
• Communicate pricing on all products to customers as required
• Work closely with sales, supply chain, production, and shipping to internally communicate customer requirements and concerns
• Support the creation of production jobs
• Be active in the maintenance and development of work instructions and work processes
• Process NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) as necessary to assure same errors do not repeat themselves
• Maintain customer confidentiality
• Actively participate in department meetings and offer suggestions on improvements
What We're Looking for
• Associate degree preferred in applicable field
• Ideally, working experience in a B2B/ industrial products customer service position
• Preferred: Working knowledge of ERP Systems and proficient in MS Office
• Self-Motivated and Self-Directed with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Communication skills, cooperativeness, and ability to work in a team
• Effective time management skills with ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to legally work in the United States
