- Work together with internal and external stakeholders to make Eppendorf goods move throughout the world.
- Responsible for inbound and outbound shipment issues, such as BOL correction, accessorial charge approval, customer refusals, etc.
- Working with Freight Forwarders, Customs Brokers and Carriers on Export shipments regarding booking export orders and setting up pickup appointments and delivery appointments
- Collaborate with internal departments ensure shipments move expeditiously and according to EAR and Customer documentation requirements
- Obtain and compare freight quotes for LTL, FTL or parcel shipments
- Creation of export documentation abiding by EAR - Commercial / Proforma Invoice, SLI, Letter of Credit processing, Export Licenses
- Maintain export files according to EAR and record the customer's requirements in the customer's file
- Assist the Distribution team with routing guide questions, shipping system issues, etc.
Your expertise
- High school diploma; 2+ years related experience and/or training in transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Experience with international shipments and customs regulations
- Knowledge of an ERP system, preferably SAP
- Attention to detail
