Job Description
Collaborate with multiple other departments to treat the occlusion and alignment of a patient's jaw and teeth.
* Examine the oral cavities of infants, children, and adolescents in the craniofacial multidisciplinary clinic primarily with but not limited to cleft lip and palate or other craniofacial abnormalities.
* Collaborate with other division providers to review diagnostic records and create a treatment plan for patient care including NAM, interceptive orthodontia, and/or comprehensive orthodontia.
* Prepare, maintain, and archive diagnostic records.
* Prepare patients for maxillofacial / orthognathic surgery.
* Fit patients for space maintainers and fixed orthodontic appliances.
* Prepare and bond brackets.
* Facilitate the transition of patient care from one phase of orthodontia to the next.
* Discuss treatment plan and cost estimate with patient and family.
* Educate patients about improving and maintaining orthodontic care, and promoting routine dental health care.

Pay Range
$48.00-$480.00 Hourly
