Lab Technician

Essential Job Functions:

• Report to Manager any noncompliance by team members
• Engage in all areas as needed to assure procedures are being followed
• Report employees' personnel issues to department manager
• Ability to work under pressure
• Working knowledge of MS office
• Working QHSE systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices
• Operate electrical and non-electrical lab equipment
Essential Job Responsibility:
Includes but not limited to-
• Receive, label, and analyze knitting, printing, finishing and color kitchen samples
• Execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures, make observations and communicate findings
• Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods
• Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions
• Record and file all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
• Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment
• Conduct all testing required for both mechanical and color/scan per standard operating procedures
