Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing Dental Service Organization (DSO) team in California. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality clinical environment. This role supports our providers in delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining efficiency and compliance with California regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments
  • Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Take digital X-rays in compliance with CA radiology standards
  • Chart procedures and document clinical notes accurately
  • Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
  • Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies
  • Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance
  • Support front office when needed to enhance patient experience
  • Qualifications

    • Active California Dental Assistant certification (as required by state law)
    • X-ray certification (California compliant)
    • CPR/BLS certification
    • Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
    • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
    • Experience with Denticon or similar dental software preferred
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
