Overview:
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the central supply supervisor, cleans, inspects, and assembles equipment and supplies. Provides units/departments with clean, sterile supplies. Employs aseptic technique in preparing and handling sterile supplies. Maintains instrument trays and linen packs.
Qualifications:
Education Requirements
High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Experience:
At least 1 year of Sterile Processing Experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure:
Must obtain a Certified Sterile Processing Certification or have completion of the program within 18 months of hire.
