American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT-CT certification for a variable shift position in a hospital CT department.

• Hospital-based CT department
• Performs routine and specialized CT examinations, including CT-guided invasive procedures
• Operates both stationary and mobile diagnostic CT equipment
• Variable schedule covering Friday and Saturday nights plus 3 alternating variable days
• Day shift hours from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM and night shift hours from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
• ARRT-CT certification required
• CRT (California Radiologic Technology) license required if applicable
• Radiology Fluoroscopy (RHF) permit required
• Venipuncture certification required
• CA state license required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate

• Performs a variety of diagnostic CT examinations and assists physicians during CT-guided invasive procedures
• Responsible for patient education regarding procedures, contrast media, and associated biological effects
• Performs general clerical duties including updating patient records, EHR, RIS, and LIS systems, as well as managing supply inventory
• Implements ALARA radiation safety standards and maintains equipment cleanliness and QC documentation
• May assist in orienting new staff and students to the department
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
• Former employees of this facility must have been gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
