POSITION OVERVIEW
Performs intermediate technical work involving the preparation and/or maintenance of fiscal or related records; does related work as required.
Water Safety Instructor I position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lesson Planning: Creates safe, engaging lesson activities prior to the class in accordance with the guidelines created by the American Red Cross Program
- Classroom Management: Can maintain a safe, fun, and productive learning environment for students while in swim lessons
- Assessing Swimmers: Completes skill assessments outline by the American Red Cross Swim Lessons and determine if students should move up or stay in levels at the end of every block, or determine if a level is a good fit or not for students and inform the Aquatics Supervisor before confirming if a
