The Irvine Unified School District comprises a diverse population of more than 36,000 PK-12 students in one early childhood learning center, 24 elementary schools, five K-8 schools, six middle schools, five high schools and one alternative high school. Under the supervision of the Supervisor- Payroll, performs a variety of complex financial clerical activities involved in the processing of payroll. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college-level coursework in accounting, bookkeeping or related field and three years clerical accounting experience. IUSD offers a comprehensive health benefits program for employees who work 30 hours or more per week. The district pays most of the cost of medical, dental and vision insurance for all eligible employees. Selected applicants will be invited to take a required written test for this position.
