The range for this position is $65,200 to $102,100 depending on experience and education.
Essential Functions:
* This position reports to the Materials Manager and has no direct reports
* Some domestic travel may be required with possible overnight stays
* Secures spot quotations as necessary; manage shipment execution, loading, and deliveries for Pole, Communication Tower, T-Pole, Tubing, Irrigation or LTL shipments
* Efficiently utilizes TMS capabilities such as MOJO and shipment process execution
* Coordinates orders with shipping, marketing, and carriers for a timely and cost-effective delivery
* Coordinates the customer service activities necessary to schedule and ship at acceptable margins
* Demonstrates the ability to accept a variety of duties, as time permits, ranging from special projects as directed by business units, to filling in during short absences of key position personnel
* Effectively communicates with customers and dealers, coordinating delivery appointments with carriers, to meet company deadlines
* Coordinates the shipment of all truckload shipments from multiple locations
* Initiates and maintains sufficient carrier contacts and communication to carry out objectives
* Adheres to and follows established transportation policies, procedures, and objectives
* Reviews reports as required to support business or customer needs
