Must-Haves
Associates degree in Radiography.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required with advanced certification in CT or MRI certification.
Eligibility to obtain State of New York Department of Health Radiologic Technologist certification.
At least one year of supervisory experience in a hospital radiology setting.
Experience with MR and CT equipment.
Nice-To-Haves
Bachelor's degree in Radiography or related field.
Eligibility to obtain State of New York Department of Health Radiologic Technologist with injection.
Experience with Philips or GE MR and CT scanners.
Experience with Visage PACS.

Job Description
A team of seasoned radiology leaders and lead technologists combined with planned equipment and facilities upgrades create an exciting career opportunity for the next MRI-CT Manager! Enjoy the support of long-term team members as you embrace the next chapter in Radiology, including replacements of MRI and CT equipment and a new interventional CT suite. Besides these updates, the MRI-CT Manager will influence the alignment of policies and procedures for the Radiology team across The University of Vermont Health Network. An emphasis on relationship building and strong communication will serve the MRI-CT manager well.
The MRI-CT Manager supervises a team spread across three locations for MRI and two locations for CT. CVPH uses 4 MRI scanners and 3 CT scanners, with a fourth (256 slice CT Scanner) scheduled to come online in the next twelve months.
Job Description
Protocol improvement, development, and revision for both CT and MRI. Process improvement. Policy revision. Policy development. Staffing and scheduling. Employee concerns/coaching. Staff education. Patient satisfaction/service recovery. PACS support and RIS support. Radiation safety. Other duties as assigned. Purchasing and vendor research/relationships. Quality assurance for both MR and CT. CT and MR imaging, post-processing.
