How you'll make an impact in this role
* Position patients with high accuracy and select optimal technical exposure factors to ensure diagnostic-quality images while adhering to the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle.
* Prepare and administer contrast media and medications in strict accordance with state/federal regulations and facility protocols, ensuring patient safety throughout the imaging process.
* Guarantee the integrity of the diagnostic record by verifying patient data, applying correct lead markers, and performing final quality checks before submission to PACS.
* Observe patient physiological status during procedures, identifying and reporting abnormal reactions or activity to ensure immediate intervention when necessary.
* Maintain equipment functionality through routine checks and "Lock/Tag Out" safety procedures, while contributing to protocol refinements to improve departmental workflow and imaging standards.
What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
* BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job
