Medical Lab Technician - 2nd shift
Job Description
Medical Lab Technicians are responsible for performing all procedures related to that department and the laboratory in general. Recognizes conditions that affect test results. Qualified individuals will have an associate's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical lab science or medical technology.
Department: Lab
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours a week required
Shift: 2nd Shift:
Required: AS degree, Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Pay: Based on experience, starting at $29.08
* $5,000 Sign on bonus
Responsibilities
Assists physicians in bone marrow preparation., Collects blood and swab samples from patients when necessary., Inventories supplies and reagents., Maintains a clean, neat work area and decontaminates area when needed., Participates in continuing education programs., Performs all testing activity related to that assigned section of the laboratory including Hematology; Coagulation, Urinalysis, Blood
