ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Manage and direct pharmacist, technician, and clerk daily workflow to efficiently provide pharmacy services and medications. Responsible for scheduling staff to efficiently meet operational needs.
* Responsible for staff mentorship, improvement plans, and performance evaluations. Establish staff training, duties, performance expectations, and competency programs.
* Assist with creation and attainment of department goals that support organizational goals and strategic plan.
* Identify opportunities, priorities, exercises initiative and independent judgment to provide pharmaceutical services.
* Supervise compounding and preparation of sterile and non-sterile hazardous and non-hazardous products. Supervise preparation, packaging, labeling, handling and storage to maintain product sterility and stability.
* Oversight for pharmacy claims process to receive
